2. WE DO NOT COLLECT OR STORE YOUR CHATS

Strict Local Processing: Chat Exporter Pro operates entirely within your browser. We DO NOT collect, store, read, transmit, or sell any of your personal chat messages, images, or conversation histories. All PDF and CSV generation happens locally on your machine.

3. Data We Do Collect

To provide license verification for our PRO users, we collect the following minimal data:

License Key & Device ID: A randomly generated anonymous Device ID is securely sent to our database (Google Sheets) solely to verify your premium license status and prevent piracy.
Payment Information: If you purchase a PRO license, payment details are handled securely by third-party payment gateways (like Gumroad or local mobile banking). We do not store your credit card or PIN numbers.

4. Permissions Used

Storage: To save your user preferences and anonymous Device ID locally.
ActiveTab / Scripting: Required strictly to read the visible chat DOM (Document Object Model) on supported platforms to format them into exportable files.
